Wild Turkeys

This was taken in my parents back yard. They are usually visiting every day and I was finally lucky enough to see them with my camera. The picture is a little fuzzy due to quick work.

Washington Monument

Here is the one and only picture I have of the Washington Monument with the cherry blossoms. This is an annual event every Spring.

Gettysburg Battlefield

These are some pictures from the battlefields of Gettyburg, PA, from the Civil War. Gettysburg is a very interesting place. There are many myths about it being haunted and some of the ghosts will get into your vehicles if the doors are left open and then ride home with you.

The Johnstown Incline Plane is the world's steepest vehicular incline plane. It's an awesome ride, but it's a shame the view is lousy.

Grand Ol Flag

This is the flag that sits atop the Incline Plane. On a clear, windy day, it can be seen from at least 4 miles in the distance.

Stone Bridge

This is the historic Stone Bridge in Johnstown. It is supposed to be revamped in a year or 2 with a new facade and new lighting. Many trains cross on the tracks in a day enroute to Pittsburgh and points West.

I don't quite remember when I took this picture as I found it my archives today.

This lovely fall foliage picture was taken at the Quemahoning Dam. We are so lucky to live in an area with awesome fall foliage.

The first picture is the front and the second is the back side of the Staple Bend Tunnel. It is in Mineral Point, PA. It was once used as a tunnel for trains, now it is just a tourist attraction. To get to it requires a 2 mile walk, 1 way. I wasn't disappointed after the 4 mile trek.
